Summer Rote Collection is a set of 7 rote piano pieces created for beginner students! Pieces range from jazzy, regal, beautiful and more! The set includes a walking piece and many improvisational opportunities, as well as major, minor, and pentatonic selections! The whole range of the piano is used throughout the set. Students can use one finger for the easier pieces to work on developing a balanced arm and then use both hands for the harder pieces. Student pages do not have written notation because they are intended to be taught by rote. There is a blank keyboard diagram on each page so that students can mark starting notes themselves to aid in memory. This collection also includes all of the pieces in notated form for teacher reference. The Summer Rote Collection includes:
- Two versions of the 7 rote pieces (one without starting notes marked and one with starting notes marked)
- All pieces notated on the staff for teacher reference
